“If it doesn't exist the way I see it, I'll build it.”

Born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, José Durán Rendón is an Austin, Texas–based independent filmmaker and visual artist who found his voice behind a camera. Raised between two countries and surrounded by music, street culture and a city constantly evolving, he treats every project as a story first.

What started as documenting friends and everyday moments grew into a full creative practice — directing music videos, shooting, editing, color grading, motion graphics and animation. Self‑taught and driven by instinct, he usually carries a project from the first idea to the final grade.
